Well done my friend, very well done!! Design and engineer a way for your lens to telescope in and out for an adjustable beam. With your lens close to your LED chip like you have now, your flashlight is throwing a wide angle flood beam, if that same lens could telescope out or travel away from the LED chip, your beam would narrow and focus, becoming more intense as it traveled away from the LED chip. Great job and very good tutorial video.

surprisingly perfect electric work. very impressive.

July 11, 2017

Great job. Only one suggestion I would make. Add a way to recharge it without removal of the battery pack and it would be perfect. Also, how long does the battery last?

If I wanted to make an AC variant of this (to act as a work lamp/floodlight, etc), what would I need to do differently?
