Intsun Outdoor LED Light Wireless Solar Powered Security Motion Sensing unit LED Light Evaluation

Get it here, this light is bigger than I expected it to be. This is good, it covers a great deal of location and is very intense. The solar charging works fantastic and as this has replaceable batteries I anticipate it to last a very long time. The 3 moduses operandi work great (well believed out) and it actually is a monster of a light that will cost little to run (other than for new batteries, expect to replace them every 9-36 months depending on how you use it. Batteries cost $8-20 for a set depending on brand name and capability). Bare in mind the conserving of running wire and the simple and tidy installation.

The three modes are (all mode just activate in the dark): always on at about 50%, always on at about 25% and after that 100% as soon as movement triggered, and after that off to 100% once movement activated. Off to 100% once motion activated will offer you the best battery life for sure (unless put is a high traffic area obviously).

I’ve left it out in downpour and blistering sun and it reveals now sign of wear so far. No warping from the heat and still bone dry inside.

Odd question, would this work well inside a 9 x 9 tree house?

Thanks for the info. This one would be about 7 watts or 7 times as much as the headlamp I’m happy with.

But my house eves are about 18 inches. I really need a gutter mount. Maybe I can figure some way to make a gutter mount out of this.

I think you might be holding a 36 LED

What have you seen for gutter lights that are one lumen or better?

You did an excellent review. But I would need to mount this light under a house eve and of course, that won’t work.

How many lumens does it put out?

Great video. Only thing giving me pause is the shape/styling/color of the light. Looks great otherwise.

I was wondering to ask what is the angle of motion detection, considering the fact that the device stands 90 degree on the wall?

Motion Security lighting is a complete waste of time and money! Why? Because thieves love them..Why? Because no one pay’s attention NOR do they want to get involved. No call to the police but your neighbor will close the curtains. Most people that might notice think it’s a cat passing through. What they DO DO..is show the would be criminal where all your stuff is..making things extremely easier to see what they wish to see. Also offering better access to your backyards, what’s inside your vehicles or whats in your RV. My buddy installed one..the neighbor noticed a guy outside his car and he waved at the light to turn back on after it went out. He lost some camera equipment that he was going to remove after he was finished dinner. Instead he lost it all. Light is NOT SECURITY..it’s purely illumination and that’s it. You’re much better off using IFR cameras that can see in pure darkness. At least it’ll act as a witness where as light cannot.
